Toni has truly been a weapon in God’s hand to bring me His direction & peace in my ‘baggage dropping journey’. I return frequently to her YouTube channel, podcasts & Scripture quotations when depression tries to overwhelm, or over-ruminating leads to chaotic thinking. The lack of cost for her material, i.m.o. is indicative of her love for ppl & the strength of her desire to see them walking in His strength and purpose. Prayers for God’s strength as you continue Toni.

Full of things to work on when feeling anxious and depressed. My son deals with anxiety and depression, and I felt like it was a good tool to help him with. I also love how the author gives personal experiences.

I find this book to be intriguing in a sense that Dr. Cooper has allowed the reader to feel engaged in the reading. When you approach different strategies in dealing with trauma she asks the reader questions which allows us to evaluate ourself. It makes it less of an assumption and more of us putting our input which is helpful. I’m thankful to have come across this book.

This book is written to be clearly understood by the ‘average Joe’ reader in need of extra guidance. It’s organized well and features helpful illustrations to emphasize the content. Workbook-like question sections help the reader think more objectively and deeply about how the content can apply to their lives. Highly recommend!

This excellent resource for understanding what we all experience at times contains useful, practical, and easy to understand self-tests, tips, suggestions, and hopeful professional strategies for addressing these distressing conditions. As a therapist, my clients have found this and other books and videos by Dr. Cooper to be very compassionate and helpful in addressing their individual concerns.

Toni has a unique perspective on working through life’s problems and tying it in with Scripture from the Bible. I’m just finishing her book, Life Without Baggage, and it gives me new ideas how to handle difficult challenges.

The book is very well written from an emotions aspect. It points out to label an emotion with one word, as thoughts are described with more than one word. The book triggered me to be more aware of my daily problems that may sparks my dreams. The book points out helpful advice to summarize dream in 1 or 2 basic sentences. Good examples given throughout the book. As I am a person of faith, love the direction of God speaking to us while sleeping as our filters are off. Examples of dreams are explained so the reader can relate along with Bible scriptures. I find it interesting when it talks about themes in our personality that show up in our dreams. I like that there are questions to ask yourself for awareness in figuring out your dreams and asking God to help you understand yourself, both your strengths and your flaws, better by praying. The many questions it asks throughout the book which are nice triggers to remember dreams and grow in our connection to God.
