Dr. Toni Cooper is a psychologist, author, and public speaker. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 1996. Her specialties include the treatment of anxiety, depression, dysfunctional family patterns, and PTSD. Toni has a special interest in helping individuals identify relevant psychological strategies for coping as they learn to develop a deeper connection to God. Her books, podcast, seminars, and videos reflect our need for Jesus Christ in order to be “Fully Alive” (Colossians 2:10).

Dr. Cooper has extensive experience as an inspirational speaker for community groups, church leadership retreats, radio programs, and television audiences.  Toni has a keen interest in helping adults correct distortions in their view of God, release emotional baggage, and remove the barriers to productive living. For many years, Dr. Cooper presented continuing education seminars for mental health professionals. Her seminars prepared therapists to work more effectively in the areas of “Understanding Personality”, “Enhancing Coping Skills”, and “Bolstering Boundaries”.

Dr. Cooper serves as a psychologist at WellSpring Counseling Center where she works with adults and couples. She is a regular guest on WAKR where she answers questions about coping with current issues. She is also active on Spotify, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube where she posts inspirational media.
